Indigo dying

Come and try your hand at dyeing with Indigo.

This workshop will introduce you to Indigo, which dye is one of the oldest dyes used by people all over the world. It produces a wonderful range of blues. It is a cold water dye and very quick to use.

At the workshop you will be introduced to a number of simple but effective techniques to produce patterns on cloth.

You will make your own silk scarf and have an indigo dye kit to take home so that you can continue to develop your new skills.

All materials provided but please bring your own apron and gloves.
